Location:
Located in the commune of Monthou-sur-Cher, 20 km from the Château de Chenonceau on the right bank of the Cher River, the estate is situated in the heart of the Touraine appellation.
History of the Estate:
Although it has undergone many changes over the generations (in terms of land area, types of crops, marketing, etc.), the estate has always maintained a family dimension.
Originally, while mixed farming was common—with some cereals and some market gardening—the vineyard and wine have always held a predominant place.
Since the 1980s, direct wine sales have always been prioritized, but it was towards the end of the last century that a significant milestone was reached with the cessation of other crops, specialization in viticulture, major investments including a new winemaking cellar, the renewal of a new vat room, and the implementation of temperature control management.
Alongside the modernization of winemaking facilities, efforts were also focused on marketing, enabling the opening of new markets, particularly for export.
